How Codech Solutions handles your personal data under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

This is a general privacy notice for the Codech website. It will be reviewed and may be updated as our services and the law change.
Who we are
This website is run by Codech Solutions ("Codech", "we", "us"), a software and AI solutions company in Malaysia. We are responsible for the personal data you share with us through this website. If you have any question about this notice, email codech.co@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Details you type into our forms, such as the contact form and the AI audit form: your name, company, email address, WhatsApp number if you give one, the topic and your message.
- Chat messages you send to the AI assistant on this site, and the replies it gives.
- Basic analytics, if enabled: pages visited, rough location by country or city, device and browser type. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
Please don't share sensitive personal data, such as health or financial details, through the forms or the chat.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange the free call, AI proposal and prototype.
- To prepare proposals and provide the services you ask for.
- To answer your questions through the AI assistant and improve its answers.
- To keep the website working, secure and useful.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We will only send you marketing messages if you agree to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, such as hosting, email and AI model providers. They work under contract, may use the data only to provide their service to us, and must keep it secure. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Malaysia. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and limiting data to what is needed. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk low.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can:
- Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Withdraw your consent, or limit how we use your data, including for marketing.
